Introduction for Presentation of The Major
- Each week: 2 lectures (MW) + 1 lab (Th).
- Lab = digital electronics (1/2 semester) + microprocessor electronics (1/2 semester)
- Satisfies the Systems requirement of CS Major
- Prerequisite = CSC231, Assembly. Can skip requirement with permission of instructor only if willing to do some work during Winter break. Please contact DT for more information.
If you are skipping CSC231
- First consult with DT
- In order to be successful taking CSC270, you need to understand microprocessor architecture, and assembly language programming, which is normally covered in CSC231. However, if you are willing to do some extra work preparing for this class, you can acquire the necessary background material. A special page will help you get ready for this course.
