- Part 1: Threads (in Python)
- Part 2: XGrid Computing
- Part 3: Cloud Computing
Tasks
- Programming for all 3 Platforms (in Python mostly, with some Bash-shell processing)
- Discussion and Presentations of papers in field of parallel processing and cloud computing
- One final project
- Meeting times: TTh 10:30-11:50 a.m.
Requirements
- Seminar, not opened to first-year students
- Algorithms (CSC252) required, but permission granted to bypass on case by case basis. Please consult DT for information.
