iTunes breaks the 10 billion song download mark

We are definitely in the era of big data. That's 10 billion records stored somewhere, in some database held by Apple. There's a lot of data to be filtered out from this:
- how old are the downloaders?
- what gender are they?
- What type of music do they buy?
- How is the time at which a song is bought influenced by various events in the media?
- If somebody has bought N particular songs, what is the most likely song they will want to buy next, and therefore the song that should be advertised the next time this person logs in to iTunes?!
