::31 years!  Imagine what a person could do in 31 years, without ever stopping or sleeping!  Even if the actions are very simple, such as laying bricks or stone one on top of the other:  31 years of masonry would create quite a castle!  Processors build the equivalent of castles for us every second!  And they are predictable in their outcome.
